The American and the Irishman will enter the ring this summer!

The match of the matches has been confirmed between the icon of the modern martial arts – boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor.

This time it was announced by the fighters themselves.

First McGregor left a short message on Twitter where he says “the battle begins!”

Then Mayweather also announced on Instagram saying that the fight of the century will take place in Las Vegas on August 26th 2017.

It is not known whether it will take place in the MGM Grand Garden Arena or “T-Mobile Arena.”

Mayweather said he was tired of the excuses that we now hear from McGregor.

Stating that now he will officially return from his retirement.

Mayweather during his boxing career had 49 fights and won all, equaling the record of the legendary heavyweight boxer Rocky Marciano.

This will be the 50th anniversary struggle, and probably the most spectacular.

McGregor is currently UFC in the lightweight category, the first fighter in history who at one point had two belts of different categories (featherweight and lightweight).

Unlike Mayweather, McGregor, the biggest star in the UFC, has never professionally practiced boxing.

The Irishman, previously, challenged Mayweather to a fight in the octagon under the rules of mixed martial arts.

Talks about the fight were successfully completed and confirmed by the president of the association UFC, Dana White.

According to estimates for this game, when you factor interest earnings of the fighters and television rights, could be “worth” up to $500 million.
