In June this year, employers in the United States had a record high number of job vacancies.
This is a good sign, because employment growth in previous months is likely to continue in the coming period.
The US Department of Labor said the number of vacancies increased by 8 percent to 6.2 million.
This is the highest increase since year 2000 when data began to be recorded.
However, employment is in decline, as is the number of people who quit their jobs.
It seems like most Americans aren’t quick to quit their jobs in order to get a better paying one.
They are content with the job they have and aren’t changing the scenery.
