Beginners Guide: Basic guidelines for exercising with Dumbbells

Today I decided to present a brief guide on how to use weights as wisely as possible when exercising.

For starters lets see why they are good and what we can improve through exercises with dumbbells:

  • better motor abilities (strength, speed and coordination)
  • functional abilities
  • quality connective tissue (tendons and ligaments)
  • blood volume, blood flow and muscle volume
  • better functioning of the cardiac nervous system
  • improved metabolism
  • better immunity
  • recovery after injury

To achieve the above mentioned, it is necessary to adhere to these basic rules:

  • make the movements technically correct
  • breathe properly
  • control the movements in each stage

A few additional tips:
  • start your workout by activating the large muscles
  • develop your body evenly (without forcing certain muscles)
  • while exercising be mentally present and focus on the exercises
  • training should be a minimum of 1 hour and 30 minutes after the main meal
  • train with a partner
  • if you do not feel good, skip the workout that day
